Recently I have been exploring creating Monotypes . . . I’ve been focusing on handprinted watercolor monotypes since I do not currently have access to a press. My process is to paint my plate en plein air or otherwise from direct observation, using conventional watercolor paints, and then later pull the print. I am using a Murasaki Baren and primarily Arches 88 and Japanese papers . . .

Images below represent the types of subjects I have been exploring.
